Love is in the air. Or maybe it’s just pollen. Spring is almost here and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome warmer temps and all the special occasions that come in tow.
If you’re also twenty-something, chances are you’ve been invited to a wedding or two this season. Whether it’s a tropical destination or local ceremony, weddings continue to step outside the mold.
Co-ed bridal parties, dessert bars, and dried flowers are a few ways modern weddings break tradition. Some brides opt for elegant pants in lieu of the traditional gown while the occasional groom will ditch the black tux for a lighter suit.
What does all this mean? Guests *also* have freedom with their wardrobe choices.
That said, I’m a fairly traditional gal and my style is a direct reflection. Unless it’s a black tie affair, my wedding guest ensemble would likely consist of a midi length sheath and evening clutch. Save the club dress for.. the club. Duh.
When it comes to color, my wedding guest rules are simple: don’t wear solid white or cream like, ever. What about black? Despite being non-traditional, it’s A-Ok in my book.
Without further ado, check out the ten dresses I’d wear to a spring wedding.
