Hi friend! So glad you’re here. If you follow me on Insta, you know that I love to share little corners of my apartment. My home is my sanctuary, where I feel most relaxed and at ease – blame my Taurus moon.
Nothing in this world makes me happier than a clean house. For me, that means crisp linens, a fresh bouquet from the farmer’s market, and the smell of Bais by Diptyque wafting in the background. Add the sounds of a great Brazilian jazz album and… *chefs kiss*
That said, your favorite homebody (insert: me), receives a ton of link requests + shop recommendations, rendering this post well past due.
First, I’d like to point out that some of my favorite tchotchkes are vintage. Online consignment stores, estate sales, and thrift stores set the stage for the perfect treasure hunt. In fact, I discovered my love for vintage Orrefers, Kosta Boda, and Waterford through Etsy and eBay.
Nonetheless, I don’t plan on living in this apartment forever, so any purchase I make at this stage is limited to tiny collectibles that will suit any future home environment. Think: a timeless coffee table book or a crystal bud vase. When occupying a 900 sq. ft apartment, the little things become the big things.
While I truly dig a one-of-a-kind vintage or pre-loved piece, it’s literally never been more accessible to adopt a timeless, California-cool interior aesthetic. Below, I’ve rounded up some of the pieces I currently own and receive the most questions about.
