Turning a Chapter: Moving Into My Own Place

Turning a Chapter: Moving Into My Own Place

ICYMI: I’m moving! Oh and pssst – I announced the news over on Instagram first.

Though my new digs are in the same neighborhood, it’ll mark the first apartment I will call my own. And to that, we celebrate!

Though my roommates are some of my closest friends that have become family, it feels like it’s time to start the next chapter in my life. You might be thinking, why now?

During the pandemic, it grew tough to share close quarters when we were all once passing ships in the night. Plus, living alone is something I’ve always wanted to experience before entering a committed relationship and *ahem* eventually starting a family.

I look forward to decorating, entertaining, and living life on my own terms. Will I leave a cup in the sink? Maybe. Will I prance around naked? Definitely.

More importantly, I will have the space (and freedom) to be creative; whether that’s filming an IGTV or photographing a blog post, I will have peace, quiet, and *drumroll please* spectacular lighting.

I purchased a gorgeous marble coffee table, cane tv console, and other miscellanies items over Black Friday. How’s that for lucky timing? That said, I’m still in the market for plates, bowls, wine glasses (TBD what else). I am likely to replace other furniture as well, but I reckon I ought to move first! I get the keys tomorrow…. ahhhh!!!

I’ll be sure to keep you updated on the move; until then, take a peak at what I’m shopping below!
