Stocking Stuffers: Best Of Beauty In 2018

Okay, okay – so maybe some of the items in the list won’t fit in the average stocking (or your chimney, for that matter). That said, I got to experiment with the best in beauty this year and wanted to share the ride-or-die tools and products to add to your holiday shopping list. From haircare to skincare and nails, there is something in here for everyone. Read on for my favorite products of 2018!

Peter Thomas Roth 24k Gold Pure Luxury
Lift & Firm Hydra-Gel Eye Patches
Lovely Skin, $75

The Gist: If Cleopatra lived today, these 24k gold eye patches would surely be a crucial part of her beauty rotation. Why are these patches so special? Dry, combination, and even oily skin benefits from these miracle workers, rendering them a universally suitable gift. And, the patches contain hyaluronic acid and hydrolyzed collagen to deliver intense hydration, diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Caffeine is another key component that works to reduce puffiness, making you look more awake and refreshed.

LightStim For Acne
Revolve, $169

The Gist: I have so many great things to say about this product! I first learned about the LightStim through my dermatologist. The device emits professional strength LED light to heal existing blemishes and prevent future breakouts. It’s the perfect product for the “picker” in your life. You know, the person that can’t help but pick and prod anytime they get a breakout (guilty as charged!).

 Glow To Go Mask Set
Joanna Vargas, $75

The Gist: Who better to describe the masks than Joanna Vargas herself?

“I created this set to give a mask solution for any skincare concern. Each packet in this go-to set contains extra serum; use it on your décolleté, arms, legs, or anywhere you can use an extra boost of hydration.”

Each set includes:
1 Eden Instant Lift Face Mask
1 Forever Glow Anti-Aging Face Mask
1 Dawn Face Mask
1 Twilight Face Mask
1 Bright Eye Hydrating Face Mask

Nano Facial Steamer
Panasonic, $130

The Gist: One of the best parts about facials is the steam, am I right? Bring the spa home with an at home facial steamer. Your pores will open up, allowing skincare products to penetrate deeper. Sometimes, when I’m feeling fancy, I’ll even add essential oil to the water for a truly luxurious experience.

Byredo: Mojave Ghost
Barney’s New York, $165

The Gist: It’s difficult to recommend a product that needs to be experienced to be appreciated. That said, if you’re braving the malls this holiday season, make a beeline for Barney’s and take a whiff of Mojave Ghost. This elegant gift is a surefire way to get you on the nice list.

Fragrance notes: ambrette, Jamaican nesberry. Middle notes: violet, sandalwood, magnolia. Base Notes: chantilly musk, crisp amber, cedarwood

Three Ouai Kit
Net-a-Porter, $25

The Gist: It’s no secret Ouai has a cult following (count me in!). The Three Ouai Kit is a great stocking stuffer and intro to Ouai products. And, the smaller size is perfect for travel! Not only do the products smell SO good, but they’re all free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. The kit includes dry texture foam, wave spray, and volume spray.

Essie Gel Couture
HSN, $12

The Gist: For the girl that loves a gel mani but doesn’t love the gel mani price. I am a CULT believer in Essie Gel Couture; in fact, it’s practically all I use! My manis/pedis last 3x longer than with regular polish. Another great stocking stuffer or little gift for a girlfriend.

NuFace Women’s NuBODY Skin Toning Device
Barney’s, $399

The Gist: Suitable for all skin types, the NuFACE NuBODY is designed to target cellulite and uneven skin. It’s the first ever FDA-cleared at-home micro-current body toning tool that visibly tones and firms the skin in just a few weeks. The device has three settings so you can control the intensity of the micro-currents. I always use the highest settings because I want to attack my cellulite with a vengeance. Ha!

The Gist: Facial rolling is an essential part of the lymphatic drainage, reducing inflammation and swelling. Sculpt your face by rolling just a few minutes daily. Not sure how to get started? Learn how to use a facial roller, here.
