Designer Shoe Sale: December Edit

Designer Shoe Sale: December Edit

Let’s talk budget. Ahh, yes, the dreaded ‘b’ word. It’s one of my least favorite words in the English language, yet one of the more important. Inconvenient, isn’t it?

When it comes to creating a wardrobe budget, I generally stick to the following rules:

1. Splurge on accessories – within reason
2. Save on the rest – also within reason 😉

Outerwear, tops, and bottoms are a few areas I prefer to cut corners. Revolve, H&M, and even Forever 21 are a few of my go-tos. Heck, I’m not above Target either. Fashion doesn’t discriminate.

However, I’m more than willing to shell out a few extra dollars on jewelry, handbags and, of course, shoes!  Because, regardless of the price tag, elegant accessories are the easiest way to transform an inexpensive outfit into something you’d see in a designer catalogue. A gorgeous pair of shoes can completely elevate your ensemble, do you agree?

That said, when I’m shopping designer, I will always hunt for a discount. I can’t resist a bargain; what can I say? I think it’s in my DNA.

Read on for my top designer shoe finds this month that all happen to be on sale… yay!

Golden Goose White & Black Superstar Sneakers
SSENSE, $371 (was $475)

The Gist: Golden Goose sneakers don’t go on sale often, which is why I was surprised to see these classic sneakers at a hefty discount.

Burberry Link Detail Patent Leather Loafers
Burberry, $260 (down from $650)

The Gist: It’s no secret I love a good loafer. This patent pair by Burberry are sleek and have an endogenous feel. What I love about this pair is that they’re edgy enough to wear both in and out of the office. Wear them with trousers in the workplace or pair them with distressed boyfriend denim and an oversized blazer for instant cool.

My Theresa, $521 (originally $745)

The Gist: I have a thing for slingbacks, can you tell? These studded Valentino flats are iconic to the brand and you can snag ’em for a generous discount from MyTheresa.com… need I say more? Wear them with a skirt, a dress, trousers, denim… you name it. They’re versatile and the color is appropriate for both winter and spring.

Prada Pointed Stilleto Pumps
Shopbop, $356 (was $475)

The Gist: These minimalist pumps might not be the most exciting pair on the list but they’re classy, understated, and comfortable. I imagine wearing them with black tights and this dress. They’re a closet staple you’ll reach for again and again.

Jimmy Choo Lace Up Oxford
Farfetch, $477 (was $795)

The Gist: Versatile and comfortable, these Jimmy Choo diamond studded oxfords would elevate any outfit. Style them with leather leggings and an oversized blazer and you’ll strike the perfect balance between edginess and conservatism.
